Manual Unstaking via Account NFT Transfer (sUSD & SNX)

At this time, unstaking sUSD and SNX is only available via manual Support processing.

To proceed with unstaking, you will need to transfer your Account NFT to the Synthetix Treasury wallet. Once received, Support will process your unstake and return your assets.

Please allow approximately 2 weeks for processing after submission.

Availability Notice

Manual unstaking via Support is expected to close before May 5, 2026.

This process may change at any time. To ensure you have the most up-to-date information, please open a Support ticket and speak with an agent to confirm whether manual unstaking is still available.

Eligibility Requirement

To be eligible for manual unstaking:

  • You must have an active staking position with an associated Account NFT
  • You must not be participating in Debt Jubilee unless you have completed it
  • You must have no outstanding debt on your account
    • If you do have remaining debt, please contact Support to discuss your options

Support will verify:

  • Your Account ID
  • Your staked balances (sUSD and/or SNX)
  • The amount to be returned

What You Will Need to Do

1. Contact Support

Open a Support ticket and ask to speak with an agent, confirming that you would like to proceed with manual unstaking.

Include:

  • Your wallet address
  • Confirmation that you would like to unstake manually

Support will review your eligibility and confirm if you can proceed.

2. Locate Your Account NFT
  • Your Account NFT can be found in your wallet
  • The Token ID will match your Account ID shown on the staking site
  • You can also transfer it via the 420 site, which may be the easier option
3. Transfer Your Account NFT

Once Support has confirmed, send your Account NFT to the Synthetix Treasury address:

To send the NFT via the staking site:
  1. Log into the 420 site
  2. Make sure you are on the correct network
  3. Click your wallet in the top right
  4. Click “Settings”
After opening your wallet from the top right, use the gear icon next to Accounts to open Settings, then continue with Transfer Ownership for the account you are unstaking.
  1. Click “Transfer Ownership” on the account you want to unstake
  2. Enter the Synthetix Treasury wallet address:
    • 0xebAC8Fc8752A267A36cE683A867000F69Fd0e73d
  3. Confirm the Transfer
From Account Settings, open Transfer Ownership, paste the Treasury address in the destination field, review the warning, then click Confirm to complete the NFT transfer.
4. Confirm with Support

After completing the transfer, reply to your Support ticket with:

  • Your transaction hash (TX ID)

What Happens Next

Once the NFT is received:

  • Your unstake request will be processed manually
  • Your sUSD and/or SNX will be returned to your wallet

Notes

  • Processing typically takes around 2 weeks
