Build on Synthetix V3

Synthetix V3 offers a powerful infrastructure for building composable decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. Protocols can leverage the V3 system's vaults, pools, and markets to create innovative financial products and services.

During the initial scaling phase of Perps V3 on Base, Ethereum Mainnet, and Arbitrum, the focus for developer integrations will be on building applications that interact with and extend the functionality of the Perps V3 markets.

Examples of protocols that can be built on top of Synthetix Perps V3 include:

1. Frontend Trading Integration

2. Leverage Tokens

3. Funding Rate Arbitrage / Price Difference Arbitrage (via simulated order books)

4. Delta-Neutral Stablecoins (basis trade like Ethena)

In the future, as the V3 system matures and expands, developers will have the opportunity to create a wide range of DeFi applications, such as:

2. NFT-Fi Borrowing / Perpetuals

Please note that currently, all new markets and integrations must be approved by the Synthetix governance process. As the V3 system evolves, this requirement may be relaxed to allow for permissionless market creation.
